Lady Gaga...how about that half time show!

“she is being “body shamed” for a flabby belly”

:open_mouth: That’s nuts!

Love that she made her statement without having to insult anyone, resort to hyberbole or hysteria or drop an F bomb. She is a class act.

What?! That belly is perfectly fine (says this owner of a very similar looking belly). Shamers should shut up and crawl under their rock.

Please please please can I have a belly like Gaga…pretty please??

I would also be willing to bet that 99.99% of the people critiquing her are way heavier and more “flabby” than she is. I’m disgusted.

I knew when I saw that tiny sliver of extra flesh that internet haters would be all over it. It’s ridiculous!

Brilliant show!

She was accepted to Juilliard at an early age but didn’t attend. She was an early acceptance to Tisch!

I agree - GREAT show! She will be playing @ Wrigley Field late August and now I want to go!

Just being honest, that little “flab” of belly looked better to me than a flat, sunk in belly.

You put a pair of spanx type briefs on and see if you can have no “belly flab”!

@leftrightleft I went to her Monster Ball Tour in NYC a number of years ago and it was incredible. She puts on a great show for her audience!

Doesn’t make her performance any less “wow” though.

The camera cut when she jumped was pretty obvious.

^^^^^Yep.

I understand that the problem is likely with me, but I don’t hear any of those things when she sings. (I grant that her voice is strong.). All I hear is noise. (For the record, my wife thinks she’s great.)

On the news this morning was how hard she trained so she could sing while dancing, jumping and flying through the air. She said she does not believe in lip syncing.

@poblob14

Are you a singer? Have you ever done any voice training?

@thumper1 No and yes.

I’m not expressing myself well. My apologies.

I just think her halftime show was terrific. Most notable was her fabulous singing. She really has pipes…and she used them…herself wothout having others join her as lead singer…for what? Almost a full half hour? And while dancing and flying around?

Amazing…and truthfully takes training and an outstanding vocal mechanism to begin with.

I also thought the choreography for the show was fabulous…really great.

My husband had never seen Lady Gaga before, but he was won over by her “Hi Mom, Hi Dad!” as much as by her performance, which we both thought was impressive.

Here’s another thing. I had to rewind to figure out when she removed all that eye make up. Did anyone else catch that? How did that work, I’m guessing it was something she could just peel off?
