International student with 32 act 109 toefl a silver medal in IJSO. Deferred. It feel so bad. Like this mornig when I wake up, I dont feel ok at all.

@Megatron99 I too the old SAT and scored at 2250. I also got almost full ride. So, I wouldnt give up hope.

I tried to check for an accepted student facebook page but I couldn’t find an official page. The official lafayette college page says you need a lafayette email to join so we can’t join that yet either.
Anyone in Massachusetts get a letter yet?
In NY and still haven’t gotten a letter.
In MA and received acceptance letter on Thursday. Postmark was Dec 13. Did you check “ED” on your app and submit the parental consent form? If so, maybe it makes sense to call the Admissions office tomorrow? If not, then it’s probably assessed with the RD pool or the ED2 pool.
I think the international students should have contacted Lafayette admission officer before applying ed. My counselor told me to apply rd. the students who require aid will be considered in that pool. However, some very talented students were exceptionally accepted. I am going to apply for rd. best of luck who were deferred.
Is there a facebook group or groupme for accepted students? All my friends getting accepted to other colleges are in facebook groups and stuff and it seems like Lafayette just doesn’t have any
I haven’t seen anything either. The only facebook group I found requires a Lafayette email. It would be great to have a way for accepted students to connect!
Someone should make a new facebook group that is real, not any of those fake ones, then we can make a group me from there

Does anyone contact the admission committee for financial aid stuff? I contacted via email and they dont reply. (I email both admissions email and financial aid email)
@ndq1610 It is possible that the offices are closed for the semester break. I’m not sure.
Did anyone receive notification of the Marquis scholarship in their ED acceptance package or will they come out later along with the RD applicants?
Was accepted ED, but no mention of Marquis. I assumed that meant there was no offer of the scholarship. I thought they let you know with your decision letter.
I assumed the same as there was no offer of a scholarship with the acceptance. I did note however that in previous years notification of the scholarships went out later during RD. No matter, we are thrilled to be in regardless.
