@jillpnk they email the financial aid award too
@jillpnk I checked my portal, but it’s still the same. Maybe that means I didn’t get in, or got waitlisted. I guess i’ll keep having to wait for the letter
@rose528 you could email the admission office and ask.
@rose528 that is frustrating…I think it would be a good idea to call them today. Hope you find out soon!
@rose528 I think it is fair game to call admissions and inquire about your status – especially since the international applicants have already been notified via email.
International here. Accepted + Marquis scholarship (not fellowship)!! waiting for snail mail. I live in the U.S.
Can all post your stats along with the scolarship info and acceptance
Letter came today. D accepted - Marquis fellowship award!
Letter still hasn’t come in today, i’ll call admissions tomorrow, hopefully they can help.
Do you happen to know if the Marquis Scholarship is the only merit award offered?
Accepted!
3.8 UW GPA, 4.4 W GPA, 29 ACT, multiple AP/honors classes, EC included lacrosse, cheerleading, NHS, pep club, green club, fashion club, key club (lots of community service)!
@casey98 I think its only merit, as it says so on their website
Excited to meet you all if you choose to attend! Is there a facebook page for our class?
I got an email about “Why Lafayette” but I still haven’t received a letter or had any change made to my portal. Have those who’ve been accepted had changes to their portal yet?
@makfinley I would call admissions.
@ametrine37 yes there is a facebook page for the class
@makfinley maybe you’ll get it tomorrow as they said all decisions should be out by tomorrow. otherwise you should call them
I wad told to wait till april 1st, and if no letter was received, to call them on monday
@AwesomeSOS Link? I checked like a month ago and the only one I saw seemed sketchy
Thought I’d share the story ending.
DD was accepted as Marquis scholar - 24k/y scholarship.
Went to accepted students day - saw she was hesitant.
Ended up deciding in favor of UofR - 19k/y scholarhsip.
I think she felt more comfortable with a larger school/city - a fit decision.
Her 1st choice was Tufts but the financial pkg was not competitive; and I had to say no.
For the record, I preferred Lafayette.
