Lafayette engineering alum among Va Tech victims

<p>Prayers go out to all the victims and their families…</p>

<p>Daniel O’Neil, 22, of Lincoln, R.I. A graduate student in environmental engineering, he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Lafayette College last year, according to The Providence Journal.</p>

<p>A Lafayette publication said that while there O’Neil was vice president of the Arts Society. His high school yearbook noted he was on the cross country and outdoor track teams, the drama club and the National Honor Society, according to the Providence Journal.</p>

<p>Daniel is a 2006 graduate of Lafayette. While there he was very active in the Arts Society and lived in the Arts houses his junior and senior years. There is a tribute to Daniel on the Arts Society webpages at:</p>
