language placement, help

Guys, if they place you in Spanish Lang and Lit, will it be a killer? Is it much harder than the AP Spanish class in High School? Or should I ask to be placed in the intermediate class? My grammar is ok, but I can’t talk, although I really want to read, since studying grammar is so boring! (I’m a non-native speaker by the way)

I would start with an intermediate class before you attempt the advance class, if you are unsure of you abilities.

See, this is why manga classes are fun . You can just read stuff in a foreign language without heavy grammar rules. Too bad other languages, like Spanish, don’t have an equivilant study.

charizard, romance languages offer, on the contrary, plenty of mediums through which one can learn leisurely topics.

poetry, music, literature, politics

Ah but those materials tend to be rather difficult reads, with the exception of music. Manga has pictures! And the story lines often have adventure-politics put me to sleep.

But yeah, with music, the learnabillity of the song depends most-entirely on the difficulty of the song. Some are easier to learn than others, depending on how much the chorus repeats, and the simplicity of the vocabulary in the song.
