how much do the bs/md programs look at languages? (took only 3 years of latin)

HPME (Northwestern’s combined program) requires 2 years of high school but recommends 3 or 4. So you seem fine there. I’m sure other programs have different requirements though.

wait, boston u states it requires 3, but i have only taken 2. Do you think they can still let me slide?

does it increase your chances if you are in the fifth year of a language at your school?

madamebovary, I was in the same predicament and I called BU. They said that I could still apply but since its their most competitive program,it may hurt me, but she also said that there was “no harm in me applying.” So I think the moral of the story is that you can still apply but it might hurt your chances.

what if you took 2 years of High school (9th and 10th grade) language but are at the 3rd level in 10th grade?
