<p>Deciding between a 14 inch and a 15.5 inch laptop. Weight isn’t really a deciding factor for me because the two laptops I am particularly deciding between are only .3 lbs difference. I’m an engineering major so I didn’t know if a bigger laptop is better or not.
Which is more common on campus? A 14 inch or 15 inch?</p>
<p>Obviously a bigger laptop is better but you should base your decision on other factors such as price, specifications, and performance of the laptop.</p>
<p>My son is a mechanical engineering student. He has preferred to use the school’s computer lab for all of his engineering classes, so his computer is just used for his other classes. If the same situation holds for you, then computer size wouldn’t really be a determining factor. Choose the computer that has the features/price etc that work best for you.</p>
