<p>At the tour I attended, the leader mentioned that Pitt students get a notebook discount if they purchase through Dell. Anyone know the exact percentage?</p>

<p>It was cheaper for us to get a computer through my husband’s employer than through Pitt.</p>
<p>Dell was having a sale the day I bought, and it turned out to be cheaper for me to buy directly from Dell. That was about two years ago. Tip:Be sure to get the warranty. My daughter has had to use it twice. One time, a repair person came to our house and fixed the thing.</p>
