Laptop Screen Peeking?

Whats the most funny/interesting/obscure thing you’ve caught someone watching/doing on their laptop during class?

One of my friends said he saw someone in front of him watching Dark Knight during a physics lecture.

ive seen a dude read manga during ls1.

Seen a ton of people playing on emulators during my CS classes and one during anthro, like playing super smash bros 64. etc.

This annoys me. Why do people even bother going to class if they don’t have the courtesy to pay attention the professor. Very disrespectful. Just stay home and sleep. Don’t bother coming to class if you’re just going to watch a movie, surf the net, or play video games.

^geez calm down

there are many reasons why students go to class when they don’t have the intention of listening to the professor’s lecture.
-in case the professor mentions something important regarding an assignment, exam, or anything
-if they’re on campus prior to the lecture and it’s “convenient” to attend
-some students feel uneasy if they skip a lecture and thus feel relaxed if they attend the class

in any case, it’s a lot less disrespectful to surf the web than sleep in class. also, it shouldn’t really bother you unless you’re staring at their screen. if you can’t help it, then sit in the front of the class where people generally don’t play games or browse the web.

oh and also, students are capable of multitasking and listening to the professor at the same time - i do it all the time

Someone playing 3D pinball in the 2nd row.

Personally, I think that if you’re going to being a computer to class, you should sit near the back or on the sides to prevent distracting other students.

it wasn’t me was it…hehehe

I don’t see how its disrespectful at all, its not like they’re shouting and interrupting the professor as he’s speaking. If you talk in class its much worse than playing games on the computer/watching a movie/sleeping.

i saw someone videochatting with his girlfriend (i’m assuming). or not really videochatting, they both had their webcams on, but they were typing to each other, and not the entire time either. he left it on while he was taking notes, so his gf was essentially just staring at him while he was writing things down.

so strange…

psychologically, you cannot multitask. but hey, people differ.

someone was playing runescape once.

Haha these are some funny stores guys.

And Runescape? A Classic.
