last 30 residence hours

When UF says you must take your last 30 hours in residence at UF does that include online coures offered through UF or must you take your last 30 hours at UF in an actual class that meets on campus?

online classes count. i know you can get a special exemption to study abroad, but i’m not sure if there are distance learning arrangements that don’t count.

Does “in residence” just mean the last 30 hours have to be taken at UF, versus at another school as a transient student?

What about doing an internship in Miami during the last semester? Surely there would be nothing that would disallow that.

Through a little Googling, I’ve learned that “in residence” just means that the hours are earned at the college (UF) and not earned by transfer credit from another institution. There is no requirement that you have to be there physically.

transient status is not allowed without special circumstances (a internship might count)
