Essay
i wrote two essays, both are veryy good

Recommendations

 • my math teacher, saludictorian at bates, pretty much garunteed me he would write the best essay possible for me, because of our good standings. ( he can pretty mcuh write “this guy is a genius”). my guidence counsellor also holds a similar view.

other HOOKS?
-brother is autistic
-parents are divorced

 • large family (5 children).

like you said, 2300 on the SAT is impressive, even if it’s a superscore. Your grades aren’t terrible-they could be worse, though for the schools you’re applying to, they’re probably lower than average. Good EC’s-unified-shows your interest in sports. Very nice list of awards & if your recs are as good as you say, then your profile looks very promising. Overall, really good!

Please chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1056729-condensed-concise-profile-chance-me-please.html</a></p>

thanksss for the chancing…i chanced u back :)

Lol same SAT score all 3 times. You have a lot of 1 year ECs, which indicate that you are cramming and , IMO, not worth putting on App. GPa is a litle low, but thats because of the scale. And you hooks aren’t really hooks. Except for that everything else is top tier. Good luck.

Chance: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1056376-chance-me-plz.html</a></p>

well i already put them in, and honestly wasn’t cramming just really got into new things junior and senior year (my essay kindaa touches on that)

yeah GPA is a bit low :(

will chance u

JHU (low reach)
duke (low reach)
northeastern (safety)
fordham (low match)
yale (high reach)
cornell (reach)
dartmouth (high reach)
bowdoin (high reach)
davidson (low reach)
notre dame (low reach)
bates (high match)
colby (high match)
vanderbilt (low reach)
harvard (high reach)
princeton (high reach)

thankss dude!

bumpybbbbbb

bumpidybump

You should get into the following schools:

northeastern
fordham
notre dame
bates
colby
vanderbilt

The Ivys are extremely high reaches, unless you are a URM. This is mostly due to your GPA - to be competitive, you need at least 3.8.

i figured id get into that (i was thinking bowdoin and JHU too)

our school is extremelyyy rigorous. i would like to point out that no one has a 4.0 here (thats even the kids taking the level 1 courses…not to mention our AP students). i have taken the most rigorous courses available (only 12 kids in our school have been able to do that).

my guidence counsellor goes into more details

if you would like me to chance you, post ur link please

bumpidybump

bumpidy bump/…will chance back just leave link

bumpidybump

C’mon somebody has to have a 4.0 GPA. What’s your HS ranked in the nation?

idet its that high…like 250something. but nope, no 4.0s. thats including the AP kids and the lower level kids, no 4.0s

i wouldn’t worry too much about seemingly low grades if you’re in the top 10% of your class; colleges will definitely take your ranking into account, especially since you did so well on the SAT.
i’d say:
JHU- i don’t really know the school, probably low/mid reach
duke- same as JHU
northeastern- low match
fordham- low match
yale- high reach, it is for anyone
cornell- mid/high reach, like yale
dartmouth- mid/high reach
bowdoin-low/mid reach
davidson- i don’t really know the school, i’d say a match though
notre dame- i’m not sure; high match?
bates- i’d say mid/high match
colby-i don’t know the school, maybe high match?
vanderbilt- same as colby
harvard- high reach for anyone
princeton- same as harvard

it’s a great list of schools though, seems to have a lot of range.
good luck! =)

thanks for the chancing dude :)
