Last Day to Send Test Scores?

Almost all schools say that applicants must submit all of the required materials by the deadline. Is that mean I can submit the standardized test scores (ACT, SAT, SAT2) on the day of deadline? Or is that mean I have to send before so that the college can receive by the deadline?

Can anybody answer? It’s a urgent question

It depends on the school. You need to see for each school. Some schools have a general deadline for everything. And some have a deadline for the application and a different deadline for the score reception. For example, Purdue’s deadline is Feb 1. But they accept scores until March 1. It depends, be careful for the schools that have one deadline for everything. And if they have one deadline for everything, most of the time it means they want the scores arrived by that deadline.

Why are you submitting the day of the deadline? Submit as soon as possible. Like meriks, said it depends on the school. I know Duke allows up to the January SAT and February ACT, but they still want you to send your past scores as soon as possible.

Colleges plainly state what the last testing date is. Check each college’s webpages — not ask for general advice. It varies. No one here can answer your question.

@thanksagain‌ because I wasn’t sure where I am going to apply (for some schools). Then I realized I might have to send scores few weeks before the deadline if schools need it by the deadline
I also have one more question. You said send scores as soon as possible, so if I send SAT score every time I take the test, do I have to send all of my SAT scores if the school does not participate in Score Choice? If not, how would they know that I am sending entire test scores?
