Last minute advice to keep up the momentum?

so I took 2009-2010 and 2008-2009 official practice tests…

2009-2010: 2210 (CR 730/M 760/W 720)
2008-2009: 2200 (CR 660/M 760/W 780)
2007-2008: Is it a good idea to take it? How accurate are the results compared to the actual ones?

I am very happy because I have been plateauing at mid-2000s ~ low-2100s for almost a year.

Any last minute hints to keep up the momentum? I am a senior and this is my last chance (3rd try). My CR scores aren’t very consistent but I get at least 660~670 usually.

One thing I’m worried about… for some dumb reason my school’s homecoming is on the same date as the SAT. I’m worried if I’ll lose focus because of it :(

I have the exact same problem as you.

My critical reading score for the past 10 or so practice and real SAT’s has always stayed at 660. Math on the other hand was always 750. The only one that ever fluctuated was writing.

Just remind yourself why you’re taking the SAT, and that it’s more important than homecoming. If anything think of it as a reward for finally being done with the SAT.

Relax today! No studying! Enjoy homecoming, but be home early. And think positive and confident thoughts. We often underestimate the power of visualization and having faith in ourselves.
