Type - Public, crappy (I don't think any one has EVER applied to Emory)

So what do you think my chances are? Thanks for taking a look!

i think you have a great shot. you have worked really hard and you have great stats and ecs. i don't think you'll have to worry too much but who knows? i guess you'll find out soon. good luck

Thanks for the vote of confidence ;^D I've been knocked down a few pegs within the last week or so after being waitlisted at 4/9 of the colleges I've applied to. I just hope I get a nice fat acceptance letter from Emory!

Anybody else have some more thoughts?

Your SATs are a quite a bit above the the average and your GPA and rank are incredddibley impressive! I think you have a pretty darn good shot, depending also upon your recommendations and essays (hopefully you showed a lot of interest). Goood Luck! Hopefully you'll be joining me in the fall for the Class of '10!

O and what schools were you waitlisted at? That might give us some sort of an idea. But certainly don't share if you don't feel comfortable!

No, it's no problem at all! I really probably aimed a bit too high with most of these, but I thought I'd might as well give them a shot. Here they are:

Cornell (CAS)

Any other thoughts? Last bump

I'm really worried. The college thing has been bittersweet so far, I've been accepted to American, BU (GSP), Emerson, and Fordham-Lincoln Center, and I have no real idea where I want to go. I still need to hear back from GWU (TODAY AT 5!?), University of Rochester (They waitlisted me because they lost my SAT scores??), and EMORY!

WHen do decisions come out?

QuizQuick: They release decisions via snail mail on April 1st, so expect notification towards the middle of next week.

Hi I am from Washington State and I saw you did udoc! I did udoc too!! It's a great program! What year did you do it and was it at the UW??
