So I still haven’t done my college buying, so I need to know where I can find some things.

Firstly, and most importantly:
Can anyone post links to sites that sell high-quality backpacks?

I’m looking for a backpack that can hold an laptop, a binder, and one or two textbooks.

Also, are we allowed to bring a fridge? And does anyone know how fast the Ethernet speeds inside the Cambridge comm dorms? I want to get a switch so I can do multiple stuff w/ that connection.

This is the backpack I got:

[Amazon.com: Targus CityGear Backpack Case for 17 Inch Notebooks TCG216 (Black with Grey): Electronics](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BHQSCK/ref=oss_product)

I would suggest just looking around online for some different backpacks that fit what you need. Targus makes high quality products.

As far as fridges go, you can bring them but I think the size requirement is somewhere around 3.2 cubic ft.

I’ve heard from people that I know that the connection is usually fine but can get pretty slow at certain times, around night time specifically.

Fridge requirements:

Small refrigerators are permitted in student rooms. They must meet these safety specifications:

3.6 cubic foot maximum
1.5 amp maximum in high-rise halls where most freshmen will live (0.5 amp maximum in unrenovated South Campus halls)
Grounding type, 3-prong electric plug and 3-wire cord
Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Seal of Approval
