Last minute merit scholarships

<p>Do schools award scholarships to entice those eleventh hour students who haven’t applied?..why do they wait till april to award extra scholarship $$?</p>

<p>I don’t believe so. They probably believe if the student were interested in the school they would have applied the first time around. And merit aid is usually exhausted after reviewing the students who got their apps in on time.</p>

<p>I posted a thread a few days ago about UAHuntsville. It is still awarding merit for late applicants. </p>

<p>What are your stats? GPA? and M+CR SAT…or ACT score</p>
