I go to a very very competitive private school, 4.0 GPA, 5 aps and 2 honors courses over high school, not the strongest test taker with a 25 act, lots and lots of extra cirriculars, had a job working 7-14 hours a week for 4 years,4-year starter on 2 varsity teams, has volunteered at a nursing home for 4 years and a hospital for 2. Would like to go into the medical field, physician assistant and looking for schools on the east coast mainly northeast and mid atlantic nothing too far south! </p>

Come back to us when you have selected a dozen schools that you know you can afford because you’ve run the net price calculator at each school and talked to your parents about how much they can contribute. Congrats on the 4.0 while holding down the jobs, volunteering, and sports activities. Outstanding, and you’ll want a school who will read your whole application. Many state schools cannot go to that much trouble and cost, but your state flagship should be one of your dozen schools.</p>
