I’d love to hear your suggestions

Do you have a safety that you know you will be admitted to and know that you can afford to attend?

not really no, I’m looking for a school or two that might offer me some merit aid? any suggestions?

it is easier to find a safety school than a merit aid school or a safety with merit; since you are in a rush, find the safety first. You have to have one or two to which you would go if you don’t get into your other schools. You should try to visit these to make sure you won’t be miserable at the safeties. Make looking for merit a second priority to finding a safety.

Well, a safety school must also be a college you know you can afford. How much are you able to pay per year for college?

Go to the Financial Aid forum and look at the stickies at the top for full tuition scholarships. Your stats will qualify you for some schools (perhaps UAB or UAH).

You qualify for $16,000 at Bama. (Tuscaloosa)
