<p>just wondering what yalls thoughts of me getting in are. Fairly decent GPA at a comeptitive HS (clear Lake) i have a 4.34 and thats top 13% average SAT 1260 and really good extra curriculars. 4 years varsity ice hockey which includes 1 assistant captain year, and one captain. 4 simultaneous years of club hockey. National chess championship team and state champions (highschool chess) plus various other clubs. Anyway im just quite worried and wanted some thoughts</p>

<p>I’m never been good at these “let’s play admissions committee” posts, but I just wanted to say that your stats are good, you go to one of the best public high schools in the greater Houston area, and I think the Chess thing is a really good thing to make you stand out. If you wrote good essays, It’d be my guess you’ll get in, but with UT you never know.</p>

<p>lol ann…well according to the link in the orange box thing im only being considered for my second major choice…education…and it has been confirmed via phone consult with admissions office that if the link in the orange navigation box switches to a different major or COLA that is the current college you are being considered for.</p>
