Anyone have any last words? Anything you need to get off your chest? Something to say, however profound, philosophical, or just out of all the stress?

For me…
All I have to say is that I’m happy about the things I’ve done/accomplished in HS, and my Penn decision shouldn’t change that. In the end, it’s out of my control. A good quote from Slaughterhouse V comes to mind - “Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom - always - to tell the difference.” Well this Penn decision is something I can’t change, so I have to accept it. It’s out of my control, and I’ve done all that I can. No regrets!

Good luck to all :D

As Denzel Washington said in the commencement speech for Penn 2011,

Fall Forward

“In the end, we are all just 70% water.” -anonymous. IT WILL ALL BE FINE. we will go to college. and if we are driven enough to apply to an ivy, we are driven enough to make it in life. 3 HOURS AND 25 MINUTES

Good luck to you all!

If I don’t get in, I’m gonna jump out a window.

^ … please don’t T^T

Though I haven’t been too much of an active poster on the Penn ED thread, I’d just like to say that talking to and hearing from real people that are just as anxious about this process really helped calm me down. If I get in, that’s absolutely wonderful, and I’d be excited more than anything. Getting deferred or rejected, though, brings another set of challenges, which in some ways can be as exciting as an acceptance. Just the thought of having to strap down and challenge myself on the rest of my essays (and I have quite a few of those LOL) is exciting in itself because I simply feed off of challenges. As Silverturtle said (haha): “good luck to everyone as they move forward”. Regardless of acceptance or rejection, there’s always the regular round, and we must all keep in mind that colleges don’t dictate the future. Now, I just hope I can follow my own advice :P

and Samonuh, I really hope you aren’t being serious!

Good Luck to Everyone :)
