Laster quarter (semester) GPA requirement for transfer student

It says “Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA for UC-transferable course work for that term.”
Dose it means the term GPA or I need pass each class? If I fail one of my class and got all "A"s from other classes. My GPA still above 2.0. Is it still possible for me to get in?
Thank you!

bump! 10char

No, failed classes are a big no-no. You should call the admissions office and plead for mercy.

So i’m in the same position as you. I went to talk to my councelor about this and she called the councelor at UCSD. They seemed to be friends since a long while lol anyways. She said as long as i keep above a 2.0 i will be fine. The only thing not passing the class could affect me in is in my prereq. Also make sure you have enough credits. and a 3.0 average at the end. Thats all she said. I also told her i dopped another class and she said it was fine

Thank you for your info Ealarcon. So what do you mean affect your prereq. If I maintain 2.0 GPA for spring quarter and final overall GPA above 3.0 I would be fine right? I kinda struggle in my math class, I could end up with a “D” or “F”, but two other class doing fine.

by affect prereq i mean u would have to retake hat class b4 moving on, like for example, the class i might not pass is an equivalent to chem 6C which is prereq for ochem. if i dont pass the cass i cant take ochem on Fall. Thats all it means. Just stay avobe those GPAs and u will b fine
