<p>What do you wnt to study? Wht are your stats? How much can you pay?</p>
<p>I’m a history major whose is at a CC right now, as a sophomore. My GPA is 2.9 right now, due to a relapse in depression the past year. I’m not stupid, quite the opposite, but my grades suffered just because I tried to stay in school instead of treatment.</p>
<p>Being a transfer makes it more complicated. What state are you in? The most important question is what can you afford? There is little to no aid beyond the Federal for transfers without high stats, so options are much more limited if your family can’t pay a lot. F they can pay for a private college, you will have plenty to choose from.</p>
<p>What do your academic advisor and the Transfer Counselor at your CC suggest? Usually they are tapped into the process and have good ideas.</p>
<p>I’m in California. We have no money at all, we’re lucky to get dinner, so I can only afford what I get in loans.</p>
<p>And I can’t talk to my transfer counselor. They aren’t open for appointments until the end of January and I don’t have an academic advisor.</p>
