<p>I may be transferring because of family issues, but have missed the deadline. I emailed the ad, with no response. I hope that they will admit me. As an example the University of Arkansas has August 15 as their “late deadline”. This is when classes start. Is this standard for state universities? I’ve found generally they enjoy being capricious and arbitrary.</p>
<p>The regional state universities here are generally open to new applicants up until the first week of classes.</p>
