Late Application

Originally, I did not plan to apply to UCB, but on December 1st, I changed my mind and decided to apply to UCB. I finished adding the campus and my intended major but ran into problems at the payment page - possibly due to high traffic at midnight.

Then, when it finally got through, UCB’s option got blanked out and I could not forward my application. My application was completed already and I had already chosen the college and majors. I contacted UC application center and they told me to contact UCB admissions. Do you know if they are likely to accept a late application given that I submitted UC app on time and already added UCB, selected my major but was delayed due to payment.

A: No, we will not accept late applications. (NOTE: The application deadline for transfers only has been extended until Jan. 3, 2017.)

Eh they may say this, but you should still beg. My bf forgot to do their mandatory grade reporting thing in January, which they explicitly stated they would not accept late, and when he finally remembered in late February they still let him turn it in. And he got in.
