<p>I’m a freshman at Penn State and have applied at a few schools for transfer. I’ve run into a problem in my english class that may require me to drop it. This would not affect gpa but still go on my permanent record. Now before you think I’m just a lazy freshman who’s failing a class I want to note that I was a dean’s list student for first semester engineering. A mishap through an online submission hurt my grade and the prof is very strict. I could still finish with a C but I don’t want that in English. Will a late drop look bad for transfer admission? I’d take the class this summer.</p>
