Late Recommendation Letter (Early Decision)

Hi,

In requirement of the Early Decision deadlines for AU, I sent out rec. letters from a guidance councilor and a teacher. Via AU’s web site, I recently found out that the councilor rec. (along with the transcript, SAT scores, etc.) were all received on 11/07. However, for some odd reason, it says that the teacher rec. letter was received on 11/16.

The Early Decision deadline was on 11/15.

Even though I signed the agreement and did everything else required, will this make my Early Decision entry obsolete? Considering I gave my teacher the mailing information on 10/26 (even after the entire letter was already written), I am quite peeved right now.

Thanks.

You’re asking the wrong people. Ask someone at the AU admissions office–they’re the ones who make the decisions. We’re just a bunch of supposed know-it-alls.

Nope, not a bit. It won’t make any difference.
