What does it entail? Which fraternities usually do it? Why do they do it? When is it? How fervent is the process?

it would be for smaller fraternities that did not meet their numbers during regulaar rush - it is for you to decide if you would be happy in a smaller house -

not neccesarily…I know some large houses that did late rush simply to keep their house large. It’s a wide variety of houses ranging from some lower ones to some upper ones who just had trouble filling their pledge class. It’s a pretty basic process and if you get along with the brotherhood after hanging out a couple times, you should expect a bid.
