Late Withdraw?

I just received my final grades from second semester and am unhappy with my performance. Even after successfully filing a petition to withdraw from an intro history course after I had already taken the final, I finished the second semester with a 2.96 (3.1 cumulative) and 17 credits.

My lowest grade last semester was a D+ in an econ course and I’ve been thinking if I should try to file another petition to receive a late withdraw. I’m not sure if this is even possible because it’s already summer, but if successful my semester GPA would change from a 2.96 to a 3.48.

Should I accept the D+ and move on? I plan to apply to transfer for junior year and am concerned that this will adversely affect my chances.

Thanks for the help

bump .

Talk to your adviser…having a D+ on your transcript might look better than two Ws.

also, a 3.1 cumulative isn’t that bad (its above a B average)

Seriously though, email your adviser-he/she should know what would look best for you.
