late?

Hi everyone!
Well I am currently in my grade 10.I am from India and thus have to give my board exams this year. So far i have not been able to focus much on my studies…and regardless i still manage to get off with a 3.71 GPA studying one day before the exam…I know not that great and I know i can push it up to a perfect 4.0 GPA.I have been doing art for around 11 years now. I was thinking of taking up music and dance.
I may be getting home schooled next year…but if not I am definitely going to stand for student body president.
All this because ever since i was ten it was my dream to get into specifically(MIT, Harvard or Princeton)I want to know if it is a tad bit too late to have any chances of getting in now…or do i still have a shot…and if there is anything else i need to add to my list of to do’s to increase my chances of getting in please don’t hesitate to mention that either.

Your GPA could be higher, but it is not so low that the schools are unrealistic. Though other things matter as well, you need strong ECs (specifically community service and leadership) and a high SAT/ACT score.

anything else thing else i need to do to …to increase my chances…???

Thanks:)

oh…and how do i take up leadership if im getting home schooled???

extremely low chance to be frank. I’m not trying to be rude but a 3.71 GPA from an international student = almost a flat-out rejection

If you want ot have a shot, you better get a 2300+ on SAT I’s , 770+ on SAT II’s (800 on MAth II), get some damn good extracurrics, and write outstanding essays

chance me back
