Latin Scholarship?

<p>Has anyone taken/does anyone intend to take the latin examination to compete for half/full tuition at BU? </p>

<p>The website is very vague about the test’s topics… specifically, how much of the test is related to civilization and what parts of “civilization” are covered? Ie, does it cover the monarchy, republic and empire? Is it more focused on government, religion, or culture? And do you know about how many take it each year?</p>

<p>My sophomore S took it and one of his friends took it last year. I’m not sure what the exam covered, but it wasn’t easy. S was enrolled in AP Latin at the time and got a 5 on that exam. BU was extremely cooperative in arranging for him to take the exam at his local high school in California.</p>
