<p>If I get an open landry hamper, won’t it make my room smell?
Where would I put my dirty clothes? Should they go in the closet?</p>
<p>I and most of my friends have open laundry hampers. They don’t smell if you make sure that you put no wet clothes into them.</p>
<p>Just don’t put wet stuff (towels, sweaty clothes, etc) in it and it won’t smell. You have to let the wet stuff dry out first. And yes I would put it in the closet, because that keeps it out of the way.</p>
<p>What do you do with your laundry hamper now? </p>
<p>I never have had smell problems…if you put wet clothes in, try to wash them within a day or two, though. But really, how often do you have wet clothes? I’ve only gotten completely soaked two or three times, walking in the rain without an umbrella because I didn’t think it’d rain that day…</p>
<p>MIne us un the kaundry room. In college i will only do laundry every 1-2 weeks instead of daily. I donpt know if it would stink or not.</p>
<p>my laundry smells pretty bad from my extremely sweaty clothes…I put an air freshener and my box of detergent in the vicinity to alleviate the stench</p>
<p>if it’s in the closet it shouldn’t be too bad…
depending on how dirty the clothes you put in are of course.</p>
