“Richland Police Department officers and Pulaski County deputies responded to an area of North Pine Street Wednesday evening. While assisting a victim of an assault, investigators say Pulaski County deputies came under fire by Hackman. Investigators say deputies then exchanged gunfire, hitting him in the stomach. The original victim was shot in the arm.”
