Law from... UC Merced?

Graduate School Law School

I’m currently divided on attending either Davis or Merced (waiting on UCB.) I agree for the most part that UC Merced will, if anything, provide one of the more unique experiences of the UCs. Outstanding faculty, great campus, etc. Problem is, it will be a while before they establish a reputation.

Question: Four years from now, do you picture top law schools looking down on Merced and still viewing them as an unknown? Is it too risky to attend Merced over UCD or UCB?

I think so. I would play it safe with UCD or Cal.
