What? This is a new one for me. I thought that kind of business was only ok in parts of Nevada.

I wonder how many Mids will be searching this site for clues…?

Maybe checking for a “looker” with a “hot” rating?
Geeze Louise… must be something in the water back there at Canoe U…

Apparently Ms Palfrey gave ABC News “hundreds of pounds” of telephone documents which could be used to identify the 130+ “contractors” and their “contractees.” She had threatened to sell the documents to the hgihest bidder for cash to pay for her defense (her bank account was frozen), but the judge blocked that attempt.

Part of her defense is that the contractors were only to provide “legal” services" and she had no idea that they violated the agreement with her and her company and provided “illegal” services.

'Twas quite fascinating listening to Ms. Palfrey discuss her sordid situation in her press conference. Had one no idea of her corporate mission and the services being rendered, one might have suspected she was readily providing cleaning services to the Pentagon or selling widgets to foreign governments. All this talk of “sub-contractors” , “sales clients,” and “legal services.” And that she’d been wronged, perhaps even bankrupted by this legal morass and the legal fees to be forecast in order to maintain the rightful privacy of her sales clients merited by the United States Constitution. Madam, your linguistics make my head spin. For a moment, I almost thought you were operating a mobile brothel. Silly me. What could I have been thinking.

Alas, I do not think the money was all that great, either. It is said she has been working at this since 1993 and made 2.075 million thru 2006. That’s only 159,600 a year?!?

Dare we hope she didn’t teach character development???

Perhaps leadership … astray?

And let’s just hope she was not in charge of any internship program. Nah, couldn’t possibly be any connection with the Owens scenario. Nah.

seems Navy has been developing quite a few characters lately…
