Any1 else had experience with this? I have the testing i used to get time on the SAT and ACT, will this help at all for USC? Are the professors acceptable to extra time and use of a laptop for tests?

You have to have a professional document your need for extra time. Here’s the disabilities website link.

I read this site, i was wondering if anybody had first hand experience dealing with the professors and disability services.

In general, you need to reapply with disability services each semester for accomodations such as using a laptop/ asking for extra time for tests [ which is a pain in the bu** but that’s the rules.] Then you meet with your professors to get their agreement. Some may allow laptops in the classroom during tests or extra time, others may not. In that case you then will have to take the tests seperately in the disabilty offices using their computers.
The best thing for you to do is be prepared when you get to USC -bring all the test results that the DS office requires with you to orientation, meet with the DS coordinator that week, fill out all the forms and then meet with your profs asap when classes begin.
