Le Rosey admissions 2012

I want to apply for Institute Le Rosey in 2010, but I am not sure about the fees because my parents are currently paying for my two brothers to go to Eton and that it already putting financial stress on my family even thought we are quite wealthy. Should I apply for a scholarship? or just leave it to another person who needs it more than I?

P.S is there anyone on here who currently goes to Le Rosey that can help me out?

jenny - I don’t know what you mean by scholarship . . . need-based aid or a merit scholarship? I’ve no idea if you’d qualify for the former, but if you can qualify for the latter, why not go for it? Merit-based scholarships are awarded without regard for family finances. If you can qualify for one, and it will help your family, then why not try?

As for need-based aid, any family can apply . . . it’s up to the school to determine if your family’s financial situation merits assistance. It is, in any event, not your decision. It’s up to your parents to decide if they want to apply for need-based aid, and it’s up to the school to decide if they will get it.

As for Le Rosey students on this forum . . . I can’t recall that I’ve ever seen one. But do a search for “Le Rosey” and see what you find. If you can find a student who’s posted previously, you can always try contacting that person by private message.

My daughter graduated from Le Rosey in '10. Multiply the stated tuition by 1.5 and you will get a better idea of the total costs. For our daughter, it was a great experience.
