<p>I’m so disappointed, I’m a semi-finalist. In my email they wrote this:
“You should know that you have been designated as a semifinalist, in the event
that additional openings become available. Should a spot become available, you
will be invited to participate in this summer’s program.”
I’m probably going to send a reply email back later so they know I’m still interested. I hope there is still a chance that I get in. :'(</p>

<p>hahaha there are other summer programs but they are all REALLY expensive and colleges don’t consider as much as LEAD…</p>

<p>Unlike prior years, there were only 90 spots this year so it was harder to get in this year. Semifinalist status equates to being on the waitlist. Out of those 90 spots, only 30 went to rising juniors.</p>
<p>Anyone knows when was the reply date for those accepted and if any of those that were on the waiting list has gotten any communication afterwards???</p>
