<p>On the American Legion website, it seems that the deadline to apply for Girl’s State has already passed. Also, I am not a Gold Award Winner (or even a Girl Scout). Could anyone tell me if there are any other activities that earn the same amount of Leadership points as these two. Also, does anyone know how they weigh all of the activities? i.e. does editor of yearbook outwiegh NHS member ect.</p>
<p>I’m not too sure on this, but from reading other posts and reading [United</a> States Military Academy at West Point](<a href=“http://www.usma.edu%5DUnited”>http://www.usma.edu) I gatherd the following:</p>
<p>-Captain of Sports Team
-Captain/Officer of Club(ie Debate, FBLA, etc.)
-Editor of Yearbook/Newspaper
-School Government</p>
<p>All of those help out in the leadership area.</p>
