So a scholarship application I am currently doing asks for Leadership positions. I just want to make sure but this means leadership positions in terms of like being president of a club, right? Or does it also mean you can be something like being part of a leadership organization like a Mayor’s Youth Council?
Does the scholarship application include any instructions? Absent any instructions to the contrary, I would have no problem including both types you describe above. If the Mayor’s Youth Council is not open to EVERYONE, then your participation in it means you have been selected to participate in a leadership organization. It is better than leaving that section of the application blank. But remember, there may be other applicants who do have the former type of leadership positions, and your application may be reviewed in comparison to all other applicants.
