<p>How can shy people get involved in leadership? Running for election is like almost impossible. I tried going for the freshman student government thing because you don’t have to run for it… but I still failed the interview badlyyy! (I think I have a bad personality or something because other kids just rocks at these things). I mean… commitment as a leader is no problem but how do you start getting into these things? Anyone in the same situation or have any suggestions?

<p>i feel your pain. there are other ways to demonstrate leadership without a title (VP or something). For example, you can become a Big Brother/SIster, get involved in your own research project, or try to teach.</p>
