<p>Make a schedule, they help me to no end. If you set your mind to it, you can learn AB over the course of two weeks. I found Calc to be easier to learn with a teacher though. </p>
<p>In terms of U.S., it depends on how you want to study. Taking notes or simple reading/highlighting? Split up the chapters so that you finish one every two or three days. You can do the same with Calc. </p>
<p>If you find the textbook too daunting, you could learn it directly from the AP review book. AMSCO has essentially all the information you need for APUSH, and the PR book for AB/BC is sufficient for both courses, minus logistic growth, which is BC I think.</p>
