Congratulations to all of you that have been accepted into LEDA! It’s been a week since my interview and I haven’t heard back yet, but I still have hope!

@jaomillenium For now, I’m just gonna sit tight. I have my SAT this Saturday so I’ve honestly just been trying to keep this off my mind lol. I think we should wait another week or two before contacting them again. After all, they said we would hear back within a couple weeks, and it hasn’t even been two weeks since our interviews! Plus, I was looking on past CC threads for LEDA, and some scholars got notified of their acceptance weeks after their interviews.

Well, I just submitted my Part Two of the application. I really hope I make it!! I am so unbelievably nervous/excited and I hope to see you all at Princeton!!!
@jaomillenium yes, I think we should wait a while because we already had our interviews and some people are barely moving to stage 2. I know it’s hard to be patient, I’m right where you are! So I agree with @hilobanana
So now I’m starting to get into a negative mindset and I don’t like it.

Has anyone heard of someone being rejected?
@Laxbro23 No I don’t think so. It’s still too early. They’re still doing the rolling admissions. (I just got accepted to round 2 on Friday)
No I have not heard anything back yet. My mom sent the confirmation email and we faxed and mailed the forms, which for me were due on the sixth. I’m emailing her tonight to see what’s going on because it’s stressing me out a little bit not knowing if they received it or what. Have you heard back?
@StrangerFish No I haven’t heard anything back either. My dad sent the confirmation email last Sunday and I also faxed and mailed the forms. I was stressing out a little too. But since we are on the same page, I think they are still busy reviewing applications and taking interviews. Let me know if she emails you back.
@Guddyyyyy15 she responded this morning saying that she did received my forms (so she probably has yours too) and that I would be receiving a packet with medical and other information to fill out.
If I am to make it to round three of the admissions process, will my FluidReview account change, as it did when I got into part two? My email hasn’t been receiving emails since March 12, so if LEDA has notified me, I will not have received it. So, now, I check my fluidreview account for changes
Is it bad if I wore a T-shirt and my interviewer wore formal attire in the interview >_<?
@Laxbro23 Hey, I actually did hear of one applicant who has been rejected; she’s a close friend to be exact.
She was rejected in part one of the application =((
Also, I’m new to this board and I’m a LEDA applicant from Las Vegas, Nevada who has made it to Part III. I’ve completed the interview and I’m currently waiting for approval for attendance of the program. Has anyone been completely accepted to LEDA on this forum? If so, could you specify when approximately? I’m beginning to become impatient because of the excitement that is replete within me!
@superninja14 did they say why she was rejected? I am also in your position and waiting for news. My interview was on the 2nd of March and I still haven’t heard anything. No news is good news though, right?
I had my interview March 10th and, when I asked, my interviewer told me I should expect to hear news by April 1st. It seems like they’ll be notifying most applicants at around the same time. They most likely want to get interviews done first. So I definitely wouldn’t worry @sillygoooose Hope to see you all this summer! 
Hey guys! Cohort 10 LEDA scholar here. As someone who submitted their application last minute and totally did not expect to get in, I’m so glad you all took a leap of faith to apply to this program, because it is absolutely and incredibly life changing. I wish everyone the best of luck, and congratulations to those who have already been accepted!!
I normally only lurk CC threads on the rare occasions that I do visit this forum, but I wanted to ease some of your worries. (Plus it distracts me from thinking about my own college decisions. Yikes.)
Please don’t freak out if you don’t hear news on the date that you were told. Notification dates vary greatly from applicant to applicant.
For me, it went a little like this: Part 2 (Feb. 28), Part 3 (Apr. 8), Interview (Apr. 9), Acceptance (Apr. 17)
Notifications may be delayed this year due to a higher number of applications, but I don’t really know exact numbers. I understand how hard it can be to contain your excitement! Just try not to psyche yourself out, and don’t drive yourself crazy either. Focus on finishing Junior year strong.
