Left handed desks

This might seem like a dumb question, but is it ever hard to get a left-handed desk in classrooms? Has there ever been a class where you couldn’t get one or something like that?

The only reason I ask is because during orientation, when we went to a smaller classroom for the peer-advising session, there was only one left-handed desk (in the group of chairs we were sitting in) and thankfully I was the only lefty there to take it. But do they ever run out? Not that it’d be a huge problem, it just would make note taking a little more difficult since, with a right handed desk, I’d sit facing the person to the right of me and they might be a little awkwarded out haha and it wouldn’t exactly be the most comfortable.

In my experience there is only one or two lefty desks in a classroom. I would not be surprised of sometimes they were absent altogether, and if you don’t get there first someone else may take what is there. I hear people complaining about this all the time. I’ve learned to write in both types of desks.

There are almost always 1-3 left-handed desks in the classroom.

I’m left handed and have never had a problem with it.
