Hello lefties out there. If both of your hands are normal and you are a lefty, please list your SAT or ACT scores like this: m720-r780 or m36-r31. What would the pattern be?

Do you know that among the last 5 US presidents 4 are lefties, and both McCain and Obama are left-handed? Interesting, isnt it?

I was born left handed…but my mom made my switch early (writing). I still do stuff like using scissors and forks with my left hand though.
never taken the SAT…really nervous about it too…

^Parents still do that? I decided one day in 8th grade history class that I was going to take my notes with my right hand because my teacher was being slower than molasses. Since then, I’ve done it quite often. In some cases, my right-handed writing has turned out better than my left-handed writing, depending on my mood.

when i was younger around kindergarten/first grade, i went to a Catholic School where I was the only kid who wrote with a left hand. There was this one really old-school sister who believed that left-handedness=devil, so she would always force me to write with my right hand. I of course went along with it because being the only one who wrote with her left hand I thought I was a freak!! By the time my parents realized what had happened, i had become…a rightie!! Lol, anyway years later i’ve gotten back into the groove with my left hand, especially when my right hand gets tired from taking notes.

I suppose you’re going for the “dominant left hand implies dominant right brain implies better ‘right-brain’ skills such as reading than ‘left-brain’ logical skills like math”? I know that this isn’t the case with my boyfriend, but let’s see how the thread supports this:

Not sure where this might lead us to. But our brain might be the new ‘Wild West’. The difference between left- and right-handedness may show in their SAT/ACt scores. When we have enough records, we’ll see. So far I trust the listed scores.
