Legacy and Admissions questions for Penn State

I’m planning on applying to Penn State as a double legacy (both my parents are alumni) however I’m doing the regular decision application for the college of engineering. Am I allowed to apply as a legacy at Penn State using the regular decision application? When is the regular decision application due? And, if the school uses Rolling admissions, is this the same as early action and early decision?

Rolling admissions just means that you can apply anytime after the app opens. There is no early action/early decision, though you can get your app in as early as you like.

The “priority” deadline is November 30. This means that if you apply by this date, you have the best chance of getting in to your first choices; after that, spots start to fill up.

Do you know whether or not I have to apply early decision as a legacy?

You can apply whenever you want as a legacy. It may not have as much of an impact as a state school…

You can see from the CDS link posted by @bodangles‌ that legacy is only considered (a tip factor).
