<p>FYI - be aware that the definition of a legacy varies from college to college. Almost everyone considers a parent who earned some sort of degree to be a legacy. Most include step-parents. U. Penn also considers grandparents. At most colleges, siblings, aunts, uncles, etc do not provide legacy status.</p>
