<p>For the “elaborate on an activity” essay, I plan to write about my experience playing in a bar band at the age of 17. Would this raise some eyebrows? None of us drink while at these bars, or for that matter, ever. But technically it still isn’t entirely legal for us to be playing in such venues. </p>

<p>What do you think? Would a university stamp this for immediate rejection for “breaking the law?”</p>

<p>I doubt they would flag it for “breaking the law”, unless you explicitly described the crimes you committed. But you could mitigate the possible consequences by stating that how you felt with regards to the legality of the situation.</p>
