Expect the decision not before 12/17, because Lehigh needs time to accept more students from ED1, and work on financial aid offers. Most schools post exact days to release decision, not Lehigh. They got to worry because their yield number is below national average.
No, I don’t think the pool of ED1 is larger than last year, because 1) the population of class 2020 drops in the US, 2) Lehigh’s ranking dropped from last year.
I always hear that Lehigh has really low yield. I don’t understand, didn’t they have much higher yield the last two years which led to an overpopulation and the biggest classes in history?
I am really in shock the decisions weren’t posted today. It now would appear that Thursday may be the most likely day and probably due to trying to replace the football team idiots about to be expelled.
@waitingdad wouldn’t it take multiple weeks of scouting to replace those players? I’m sure that would be better suited to RD/ED2, and wouldn’t affect ED1
I only have one financial aid tab under Banner. But there is basic info under “Financial Aid Status” for cost of attendance, and satisfactory academic progress; under “Eligibility” it shows satisfied requirements; there is no info under “Award”. Is that what you were asking?
Frank6215, You seem bitter. Not recruited for football? Outright denied? Lafayette student? Lehigh’s yield is “below average” compared to what? Also the “football scandal” is hardly going to move the needle on 1100-1200 ED apps much less the greater RD pool. You really think these kids are deciding where to go based on the actions of 7 knuckleheaded football players? Really? After all the research and everything they’ve been through to get to this point? Perhaps results don’t come out until Thursday, or perhaps they are tomorrow, but I really don’t see the admissions committee re-calibrating everything over this recent football player gaffe. As for the “rankings drop” you cite, you can flush that USNews ranking down the toilet. You want a job that pays real money? Go to Lehigh. Graduates are 12th in median starting salary on the way out. Better than every single Ivy, and also better than Duke, Vandy. Northwestern, etc.

@ikm2016 and @seniorgirl1129 there is no way not having the tabs means anything other than today was not the day. Please let us know when they show up, tomorrow, Thursday or God forbid Friday. Your tabs finally showing up may indicate decisions are coming that day!
@lkm2016@seniorgirl1129 Log into the portal, under “where to” click “banner”. At the top, there should be some tabs. One of which is “student services”, which has that info.
Maybe this is wishful thinking, but on the bookstore website it says orders have to be placed by noon on Friday to ensure delivery for Christmas… hopefully this narrows it down to just Wednesday and Thursday
@coco2222 Agreed. My guess is that no decisions will be released until EVERYONE has the Student Services tab. I think that is the only reason @okayokay123 asked.
Yea I wasn’t ranting on okayokay123 at all, I was just looking at the comments from below and some people kept assuming that if you don’t have the tab you got rejected. That just brings people’s hopes down which annoys me.
