The engineering fee of $460 is with the tuition, not the deposit. I’m not sure if it’s once or every year, though! I realized how stupid I was and that the amount of aid shown is PER semester so you double it… in this case my aid isn’t horrendous :)

I am correct in that the number shown under 2013 Fall Semester and under 2014 Spring Semester are EACH rewarded per year, right?

And on a side note, this thread is now the most responded to “Class of…” thread! There is so much enthusiasm this year!

We originally thought the same thing lol. You need to reapply each year for aid. That award is only for semesters shown and could go up or down depending on fafsa.

You would think that a highly ranked, very rich university would have a portal and email service that is appealing and up-to-par. When you log into Lehigh’s email account, it looks like something Windows came out 15 years ago.

Did you get your LIN number yet, Britsmum? I want to request a room so badly but I didn’t get the LIN yet!

And Mike, I know you probably can’t request a specific housing complex but in your opinion which is the best for engineers? Like closest to our classes? I saw that Richard’s has the nicest dorms so I’m hoping it’s Richards.

For me, I could only request a single if I wanted it. I also filled out some questions for roommate selection. Not sure if you guys can request dorms this time around - probably not.

In reality, no freshman dorm is very close to the buildings where most freshmen classes are held, like Packard, Chandler-Ullmann, Mudd, Neville, etc. The Centennials are pretty close to Rauch (business college) and Lewis Lab (physics). M&M is probably closest to those major buildings since it’s right across from the UC. Richards and Dravo is probably somewhere in the middle in terms of distance to major engineering buildings.

When did you receive your PIN, Britsmum? I have just received my LIN and I am anxiously waiting for the PIN to come. Did it come in mail or email? I am an international student so if the number is sent by mail, it will take quite a while to come.

What’s more, do I have to reply to the Fianancial Aid Notification by mail or just email the scanned document is okay?
