The frivolous law suit for a lazy a$$ who wants her grade changed and now a the BitterBarista who really put the philosophy degree obtained from Lehigh to great use

… Well worth the $200K+ out of pocket. I know these two nutjobs are not indicative of students, alum and professors but really makes you think what is going on…

The coffee guy is 30 years old. I would think that nearly two decades post-grad, the school he graduated from can’t be held responsible for his behavior on, or off, the job.

It doesn’t make me wonder about Lehigh for a second. They are exceptions, they are anomalies, they are not in any way representative of the Lehigh population or of a Lehigh education. Lehigh can provide the best degree in philosophy in the world but they can’t MAKE you successful nor can they force you to get a job relative to your degree. Similarly, the girl who is suing over her grade is NOT Lehigh quality - she was accepted on the basis of her father being employed there. She, by all accounts, is not a Lehigh student.

My uncle has a degree in biology from Harvard, and ironically, is a barista. Why? Because he likes that job more than any he had that pertained to bio. The school is not not should not be responsible for the life choices of their graduates, especially not for a 30 year old who graduated at 22!
